As the first quarter of 2021 has come to a close, Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of top dining and restaurant applications on the iOS platform in Latin America.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery observed a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at around 38K in the last week of December 2020 and peaking at approximately 53K in the first week of February 2021. The weekly active users showed an overall increase from 320K to around 358K in early February, before declining to approximately 300K by the end of March.
The Burger King Brasil app experienced a gradual decrease in downloads, kicking off the quarter with about 16K downloads and finishing with roughly 11K. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at around 122K and descending to near 104K.
Habib's downloads were somewhat volatile, with an initial count of around 9K, a spike to approximately 14K in late February, and ending the quarter at about 10K. Active users saw a significant rise in the same late February period, jumping from 28K to nearly 35K, before settling back to around 34K by the end of March.
Domino's Pizza México showed a steady download pattern, maintaining figures between 6K and 8K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 34K to around 29K, before a small recovery to approximately 33K at the quarter's end.
Lastly, Starbucks México saw an increase in downloads from about 3K to over 5K, peaking at 9K in late February. Active users for the app demonstrated a peak of nearly 49K in the same period, followed by a decrease to around 46K.
